ok so I just posted a thread an hour ago but I forgot to ask something! So my teacher is always encouraging us to have research on our ivestigation workbook pages! YET I have been very annoyed with her specific requests! she wants MOST (3 out of 4) pages to have research and says it is not considered to be a "proper" investigation workbook page according to IB criteria without it. TRUE OR FALSE? PLEASE HELP! and also answer my last question! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE guys! and mrs anderson Do you find this valuable?

what does your teacher tell you is research? Have you looked at the IWB Workbook 101 page?...there is a handout on the bottom and there are more if you go to my handout page "Mrs. Anderson's IB Art Curriculum and Handouts" (link to be found under the teacher breakroom page) you will find handouts I give my students about the IWB and what should go in it. Research means many things but the IWB is a process of investigating and working out ideas for your studio pieces. You should have brainstorming, researching your ideas, researching relevant artists, researching media, experimenting with the media, refining your ideas, documenting work in progress to show your process, and self critiques in your IWB. The IWB is meant to inform your studio work and allow you to gain better depth and breadth into your work. Hope this helps! Do you find this valuable?
