Hi I'm new.

Hey I'm new, but I'm in the second year of my IB Studio Art Class. So far, it's not looking so well, haha. I'm from Shawnee Mission East, and I'm a senior. I was wondering just what should I do to better prepare for my testing. I'm not the greatest artist but I love doing it, especially comic art. I can post my artwork if anyone wants to see it and give me advice. Thanks.

Hi anubis! Welcome to the IB art studio! My advice is to be sure you are covering the IB criteria...why do you think you aren't doing well? Do you have a strong theme/concept through your work? Have you researched well? If you are not strong in your technical skills then I would advise working very hard on other areas while also trying to improve your skills. Showing improvement helps. I have to say that ideas are just as important as your skill level. We would love to see your work! Upload your studio pieces to the general art gallery so we can see them. Hope this helps!
