Teacher BreakroomThis is a featured page

Teacher Breakroom - IB Art Online StudioAt my school we have a room where teachers can go during their prep period and relax and give thought to the lessons they are giving to their students. Talking with other teachers in our own subject or even just another teacher in general can be very encouraging and helpful.

This page is intended to be a break room for IB Art teachers. I know from experience that many IB Art teachers are isolated and sometimes struggle as a result. Whether you are starting out and need direction from other teachers or you just feel like you would like more ideas, this page is meant to help. On the flip side, if you have ideas to share, please, please, please share them here. Add anything and everything you think might be helpful. I'm sure all the IB Art teachers of the world thank you!

If you have a question, post it in the thread below!

P.S. The OCC is a great place to start and does have a forum for questions. This is not meant as a replacement but merely as a supplement to that.http://occ.ibo.org

<---This is an older PPT (70/30 split of Studio and IWB) but it seems still relevant and a good starting place.

avalanchequeen Clarification needed: How many assessment criteria for IWs? 3 Jun 14 2011, 8:17 AM EDT by mrs_anderson
Thread started: Aug 26 2010, 1:33 PM EDT  Watch
Hi, I am new at teaching DP visual arts and I need some clarification.
1) What is correct, Investigative workbook (IWB) or investigation workbook (IW)? I have seen both around...
2) how many assessment criteria are there for IW/IWBs, (whatever is correct) : I have seen two different documents, one with 5 descriptors and one with 8.
What are they?

Thank you very much.
